Chitting – for an early harvest (First Earlies)
Unpack immediately and place in seed tray, shallow box or egg boxes with end showing the most eyes/shoots facing upwards. Keep in a light, cool but frost area until they produce  short stubby “chits” or shoots.

Aftercare
As the shoots and leaves grow up keep tubers covered with earth to keep in the dark, and protect emerging shots from frost. Repeat as the plant develops. Water well and regularly during dry weather.
